Love Kadri as a target but such a bad year to take a run at him. Career year, on the best team in the league and on the wrong side of 30.

He has an 8 team list not a complete NMC he also waived his NMC for Seattle and Calgary already, he's shown that he would rather play anywhere than sit in a press box somewhere.

I think you can move him to almost any team needing to meet the minimum. He has a signing bonus so trade him after it's due so the team taking him doesn't actually pay the full salary.

I think you're paying for the next 2-3 years. Towards the end of the contract it won't be pretty, but the cap will likely be much higher.

And the problem you run into with that is that the Flames could already be looking at Coleman and Markstrom deals with the same trend!

Only thing I'm not a fan of is the Kadri signing. I think the Flames should maybe try Trochek for that price.

idk if the flames would do these. Kadri wont sign here for that value, Looch has NMC. Losing Guddy and Zadorov will be big, and I doubt Sutter lets that happen.
