You do realize Minnesota will have roughly $11M in available cap space to add something by the time the deadline rolls around, right?

That's without moving Rask.

The cap hit is calculated daily. And, as the year goes on, teams accrue cap space providing they manage to stay under the cap ceiling and aren't using LTIR to go over it with an injured player. Right now, the Wild have roughly $7.6M in available cap space that can be utilized for acquiring a trade acquisition and still remain under the cap. By the time the TDL rolls around, it'll be around $11M.

Minnesota doesn't need to get rid of rask. We have 11 mil in cap. So no thanks, we will keep our 2nd round pick
