i think they should stop the interim . Give him a few weeks off . And come back with Dominic Ducharme , to put back the last system .

I wouldn't worry about finishing last we still get a top 4 pick, we are not passing Seattle and Arizona is currently winning so there is still hope we remain in last after tonight.

He didn't play for an entire year and he's still generating a ton of chances just doesn't have the results. He's not a generational talent so anyone expecting as much will be disappointed. He still has 1c talent written all over him, just not to the level of McDavid or Matthews. Higher than PLD, less than Toews.

We need this mentality in the players that are staying.
The last place team has the best odds, but those odds are still against them winning the lottery.

5 of the last 10 draws have resulted in a different team getting the 1st OA pick. The 2nd place team won 3 times to move up. 3rd place once. 5th place once.
The last place team won the lottery 3 times (16,18,21).

I don't know what the odds are of the last place team winning twice in a row, but I'm not too concerned with a 2nd to last place finish.

They can win all they want now but once Chiarot, Petry, Lehky, Hoffman, Kulak, Savard, Wideman, Perreault, and possibly Drouin, Allen and Armia are gone. They will have plenty of time to let the kids play lose a couple games here are there.

to be fair, in this streak Montreal has beaten St. Louis in the shootout (ie, coinflip), the Islanders, TML(lol), Buffalo, and Ottawa. Not exactly a murderer's row, I'm sure they'll get back in the Shane Wright Derby soon enough
