Hartman is probably just flat out not available for "the value".

Tage Thompson is on pace for 34 goals this season
He’s on a great contract, and he’s an RFA at the end of it
Plus he’s young & fits our rebuild timeline

I’d say he’s fairly untouchable
I can’t see the Sabres wanting to move him

Wild are a contender. Not sure why you think a contender among all non-playoff teams besides Nashville will trade away a player whose cheap, and is their 1c on a contending team

Hartman - not for sale. He is a top-six center under contract for two more years at 1,7 million, which is vital for us if we want to contend during the dead cap era.

It seems the price for Kessel is a mid round pick.

Eh, I think Elias Lindholm 50% retained gets the job done. Wild take on a little more salary (which they really can't afford to do) and get the better player. Calgary would be stupid to do that, but hey, OP asked what's the price and it would take something like that to have the deal make any sense to the Wild.

I am not as big a Thompson fan as many, but I still can't see the Sabres moving him. You would have to put a solid young right d on the table for a conversation.

I heard that the GM of Nashville is looking to trade Forsberg

When was the last time a ppg #1 center was traded to a divisional rival? Calgary's main piece of intrest would be Anderson. The prospect pool is dul defensively wise, the price only goes up trading to a rival

Just so we are on the same page, you're going to try defend the point that you'd want a 25 year old RHS d man that runs a PP1, paid 4.55M for 4 more years for a LW/C, 28, 5.25M for 1 more year? That alone sends Calgary from the table, he's got good enough possession numbers, nothing that jumps off the page, 0.67ppg for his career, really only 2 seasons that are a ppg+, this being one of them, nearly 60% ozone starts. I mean, he's a good player, that's no question but you've asked for the best piece in the deal and then ++, that's insanity.
All this completely ignores that yo even mentioned Andersson in a Hoglander trade.. come on babe......

And Hartman is currently being paid $1.7m to play 1C for the Wild. They don't have cap space next year and can't afford to replace him, so if you ask a stupid question you'll get a stupid response. I clearly said the Flames would be stupid to do it.
