This is a decent attempt like it more than most. That being said really don’t like idea of dermott and rather stop the trend of taking in Toronto’s left overs.

Dermott isn't amazing but he does fill the void of that non-flashy bottom four defensive d-man ,he won't surprise anyone but he comes cheap cap-wise and is fairly young. I haven't watched him play too much but when I have he seems to be solid and has limited mistakes and I haven't heard leaf fans call for his name like ritchie or holl so he doesn't seem to be terrible.

You can have that second if you take on kassian as a cap dump
