Thanks Toronto, but we're not taking your garbage for Miller, and we're not retaining any of his salary. Nylander or go away.

There is no retained salary in this offer.

Nylander isn't getting traded even straight up for Miller.

Kerfoot has to be involved for salary purposes for next season.

Liljegren likely wouldn't be added, but another D prospect and 2/3rd pick, sure.

Sure isn't cap compliant this season if Muzzin returns. And sure isn't cap compliant at all next season when Muzzin returns

This is definitely only assuming that Muzzin sits out the rest of the regular season. -- It still doesn't leave a lot for next season, but it really only changes by 2 million. De Haan comes off. So we're talking about the difference between Kerfoot to Miller only-- and subtracting Dermott.

A PPG player with a great contract for this season and next season is easily worth a top prospect and a 1st plus another piece

Not better than prospects other teams can offer. And not a position of need for the Canucks, they need a top RHD or C prospect
