Forsberg Come Home

Created by: ClockReads2113
Team: 2022-23 Washington Capitals
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 24, 2022
Published: Feb. 24, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Left goalies blank because it's so hard to tell what will happen. Vanecek was great leading up to his injury. Samsnov shows elite skill but lacks consistency. We'll see how they end the season but Caps will have $5.6M to do something about it in the summer. Can free up more space by trading Sheary and bringing in AJF.

I wouldn't be opposed to keeping Sprong depending on his contract. I wonder how much he will go for. 1.5 or less I wouldn't be opposed to keeping. Despite Lavy's position on him, I like him in the lineup. Brings a lot of speed and has a great shot. But I guess not necessary with Forsberg is in there

I love Sprong and would love to keep him but the fact Snively is getting a spot over him makes me think they will move on from him, sadly.

I think Snives is showing in short order how to be a 2 way player Lavs wants and he seems able to score also. I think we should use Sprong as part of a trade to get some upgrades in here at least for the short term.
