You’re only getting Boeser if you trade Marino

Explain to me why we should trade one of the best shutdown RHD defencemen in the league? This trade would only help Vancouver out big time. For Pittsburgh it helps out the scoring but we take a huge blow trading Marino. There’s no one to take his place. So good luck trying to pry him away.

Explain to me why we should trade a young winger who has played at a 65+ point pace every year of his career when the best piece coming back is a middle 6 winger that we already have a surplus of?

Boeser will be due for a higher pay raise. Marino is already on a long term contract. And a position for RHD is scarce. Especially for a RHD of Mariano’s abilities. I’m sorry you’re not winning this debate. Vancouver comes out on top of a Marino for Boeser trade. Boeser can become expendable. Even without Boeser there’s still Miller, Garland, Pearson, Hoglander, Podkolzin on the wings. Only way I’m trading Marino is if Vancouver adds to the trade. And no I doubt the team will take Hamonic or Poolman. Like I said. Pittsburgh takes a huge blow if Marino is traded. It doesn’t help us.

And it also doesn’t help us if Boeser is traded for scraps
