That's fine, because Chicago doesn't want to trade him. But if you want Hagel that's the price.

Whether this is true or not...I'll leave up to you, BUT the rumors here in CHI are that FOUR different teams have offered a 1st and an A prospect and that the Hawks said no to all 4 teams.

Why have there been reports that they might trade him then?

Hmm I didn’t hear that. If it’s true, then Hagel is not getting traded.

I'm trying to go from Memory here, but I believe it was Seravalli that reported teams were asking about Hagel...and not the other way around. The teams putting out offers were Florida, TOR, Rangers, Devils...but I also kinda thought CGY was in there...can't remember if it was reported before or after Toffoli was traded.

Yes, we got some pretty good RHD prospects already in:
Timothy Liljegren (on roster)
Topi Niemela (top 5 prospect)
Mac Hollowell
William Villenueve

The chances of Axel playing in Toronto any time soon (in the next 3 years) seems unlikely, and where the team is looking to win now, we have a prospect pool that has value to move to gain assets we need.

I was being sarcastic, I dont know who this guy is and neither does the sabres front office so he has zero value

On to the trade.
Holl for Pysyk, I absolutely am thrilled with how well Pysyk has played, but Holl would be a better choice to play with Dahlin as he is very strong in his own end.
Among all TML D-men he has the lowest OZ%.
Only Muzzin has more hits and only Brodie has more blocked shots among all TML defensemen.
Hagg for 4th is probably close to what Buffalo would get for him so it is fair IMO.
But as we all know the jewel of the trade is Axel!, LOL laugh .
Seriously, and this is hard for me to say, but after Laaksonen, he just may be the Sabres best RHD prospect if he was included in the trade.
In the 20-21 season playing for Jukurit Mikkeli as a 20 yo, his 26 pts were second on the team and only 2 pts behind the team leader despite playing 7 fewer games.
He could turn into a decent offensive defenseman.

At the end of the season, IMO Pysyk would resign with Buffalo, especially after playing for Granato for one year.
