Hmm Chucky for Duchene- thats an interesting trade. I think that is pretty fair value 1 for 1?

Maybe. Some people say Galchenyuk is on his way out of Montréal, and I don't think Sakic would necessarily turn down getting Galchenyuk in return for Duchene.

Sabres need LW, I'd love for Galchenyuk to start next season in blue and gold.

If Bergevin ever decides that trading a good, young player to a divisional opponent is a good idea, that is.

Chucky is best suited for 2nd line duty, in my opinion. I have suggested the following trade:

Plekance
Beaulieu
Noah Juulsen
2019 1st round pick
2018 Montreal 2nd round pick

To Colorado for

Duchesne
Prospect Nichola Meloche

I think that's a pretty good trade. We would have to either sign a UFA D (Alzner!!!) or two (Hainsey would be a great addition in the bottom 6)...

I tihnk the contract Galchenyuk is about to get is going to be to valuable to trade away for a 6M$ center who is playing a little C, and a little LW.

I'm not opposed to a Galchenyuk deal, I just don't think Duchene is the answer.

Plus, I like the idea of playing Galchenyuk at 2C. Up to Bergevin to get a better one to help ease the pressure on him. UFA (Thornton) or RFA (Draisaitl).
