I thought the same thing but I know the devils are actively looking for a goalie and I heard Hutton is an option. Doubt it happens for the reason you said, but just thought id throw it on here anyway.

Friedman reported it, "Toronto's made it clear they desire to hold Knies and Niemela. Nick Robertson for a rental seems unlikely. After the olympics, Nick Abruzzese moved towards this group. They don't have a ton of draft picks, but feel very good about their prospects."

WHen the leafs make a move it's roster players and draft picks. Those young ELC contracts and their potential is worth to much.

I completely agree. Trading away the likes of Liljegren, Robertson or any of our A prospects for a rental would be a huge mistake.
