No. Just no. Primeau isn't NHL ready. Monty has been EXCELLENT recently. He's French and he fits the bill, he's not going anywhere.

MTL rejects the Columbus deal. Hughes and Gorton want to build their own team - they're keeping the first, Evans has thrived under St Louis.

Our right side gets worse here without Petry, which is saying something, though I think you've nailed the value. Same with Allen, I could see that deal happening too.
Personally, I really like the Pittsburgh trade but I'll let a Pens fan comment on that.

Byron isnt bad for the team. Buying him out is only saving 100k this year which isnt really needed anyways. He provides leadership to the core and is an inspiration to the younger players.

Oh buddy, this is a terrible trade for the habs and dubas will be held as a king after fleecing the hab, same for petry, they ain't retaining any salary and sure as hell don't trade him for a 2nd, they meant it when they said he'll get traded ONLY if it makes sense for the team and this definitely doesn't
