leafs trade is terrible, sanford and sub wouldn't help at all let alone giving up liljegren and a first dfkm

Saying Zub wouldn’t help them at all has got to be the dumbest statement ever.

zub is not that guy, he'd be bottom pair on the leafs, could get that for way cheaper

He would not be bottom pair on the Leafs are u doing okay? He would be playing with Rielly right off the bat. Can I have what you’re smoking?

I'd agree that Brodie is RD1 over Zub, but Zub is definitely an upgrade over both Holl and Lyubushkin on the right side for Toronto, plus he's signed for another year at only $2.5M (or, $500K more than Holl, the guy every TML fan seems to want to dump wherever they can.) Sanford is a winger with recent Cup win and you're getting him at a $1M cap hit on that trade. Liljegren is getting to the age where the prospect shine has almost completely worn off, and that 1st is gonna be in the early 20s at best.

Sens give up the two best assets in this trade, so they'd decline.

Zub would be a decent add, but he;s not worth that to the leafs and sanford has zero value to them

Lol no way Leafs split up Rielly and Brodie pairing. Zub would be perfect for RD2, but not for that price.

Well I can’t see the Sens trading him for less than a good replacement and a 1st . So that’s where the conversation ends

There's a LOT of competition for that...

Weren't Leafs fans making a lot of proposals to get Zub recently? Now a Sens fan make one and they play the "don't need/not worth" card? lol
