I think everyone declines these offers. They come up short in value. Especially the Hawks and Rangers one. Isles one is something that Oilers shouldn't do, but Isles won't do it either.

Flyers one is the most interesting one, but given how much they spent on Risto I really don't think they'll accept nothing short of overpayment at this point.

At this point Hagel would require Holloway and a 1st for the Hawks to consider. Is that an overpay. Maybe, I'm not ignorant to that. But after seeing Kaner talk multiple times Hagel being the heart and soul of who the Hawks need to become in order to get better...he's not getting traded. It'll have to be a WAY overpayment.

Unless Broberg or Holloway are involved in a Hagel trade, the Hawks will decline.

I like the idea of Risto, but how do u see that playing out next season? He is going to want a big contract extension & raise(even tho I dont think he is worth more than he is making now), for sure Barrie would have to be moved out. But even then i dont think the oilers can afford him with the other guys they have to resign next yr.

Yeah I know it’s all tough/easy deals to think over but everyone can’t say the prospects I’m trading away are bad because they ain’t, especially Lavoie, Tullio, and Rodrigues possibly Aapeli Rasanen too, I think the teams will like them their all trending upwards this year

Yeah that’s what I was thinking but he’s been in the league for nine years and “IF” he fits in great even during the playoffs, maybe he takes term over money and Dave Manson might play a Huge part in acquiring Josh Manson in Free Agency, that’s if he doesn’t get resigned but never know joining Oilers could be deep there in a thought 💭 for him
