That's not a good move at all for the Habs. A top prospect for a one-year wonder rental when they don't even make the playofffs?

Detroit declines. Not a player we have a need for.

Detroit has zero interest in adding depth players, even for free.

Detroit declines. We already have Kienan Draper. No more charity cases.

Easy pass from the Habs. Not getting a top 4 D prospect, when Montreal's retooling/rebuilding and are in desperate need of top 4 D.

If I'm Dallas I'd take both those trades.

If I'm the Penguins, I'd hang up on each and every one of these offers if they were given to me. We're essentially cap dumping McGinn, Heinen, and ZAR. Matheson is playing his best hockey this season, and we're giving up his terrible contract for one that will probably be worse in a few years, considering it expires when Suter is 41. Vladar has not been good for his past few games while DeSmith has finally played decently. Radulov is expensive for a rental. The ERod Trade is the Pens selling when they should be buying.

Near for McGinn, Heinen
Neal would cost literally nothing to acquire.

Detroit passes, depth players we've in spades. We need 2C and top 4 LD. Pettersson is more of a need then Aston-Reese.

Blues would do that in a second and let you keep McGinn if they had any cap for it.
