How long is Manson out for? If not for long then how does Barrie, Savoie, 2023 2nd sound? Too much or too little… please be honest.

He and Zegras have developed pretty good chemistry. Probably not cheap.

About one more week out. Day to day now. No interest in Barrie as Anaheim has Drysdale and Shattenkirk already.

I know, it’s just for cap. We would have to send Barrie back. You could probably flip him for a second round pick if you don’t want to keep him. I would love to have Manson, but we can’t if we don’t trade a contract back.

Fowler for Justin Faulk straight up. Humor me, we need help on the left and you need help on the right. Assuming they'd both waive their movement clause, thoughts?

How about we take Zucker's contract off your hands along with this year's low first?

Not interested in either Faulk. Looking at some sort of cap dump from your end.

Archibald is cleared to play, but won’t. Russell and Kassian are both out for a while, but will be back. Klefbom is out for the rest of his career in my opinion.

I believe Kassian is supposed to come back either in the middle of March, or the end of March. He is out 4-8 weeks, and that started on February 10th.

Fowler, Lindholm and Larsson are available. Not too many cap dump options from your side. No retain on Fowler from our end.

I would like to move Barrie, but if you guys don’t want him I understand. Assuming we can move Barrie eventually… why not! I would take that. Offloading Kassian would be a huge plus for the team, and I believe we should trade that first so we can make the playoffs, and possibly make it passed the first round. Manson would get us to the playoffs, and his father is the assistant coach. I would say you have a deal!

I always start with too much then we negotiate to see what a semi fair middle is. If we can move Barrie in a separate trade, I would do Kassian and our first for Manson. I believe Manson will resign, so having him on the second pair with Keith, and his dad as the assistant, we would be a better team. But, thanks for your honesty!

I could see Edmonton trading Kassian in the summer, but I doubt they do it in season. They'll want him for the playoffs and he might be on LTIR right up until then, Kucherov-style.

You start by offering too much? That's not how negotiation works.
