The reason we’d move Miller/Boeser is to clear cap space, why would we then go and get Hornqvist?

Because he has 1 year left and he has multiple SC rings and is very important pice for the rebuild! High cap hit and can be flipped at TDL if he doesn't work...

The Leafs aren’t likely big fish hunting, we’re better without JT Miller at that price in the long run.

If Niemela and Knies both hit, we’ve got extraordinary value right when some important contracts are up. Cost control until 27 is very important up against the cap.

Hornqvist has a 8 team NTC. He’s not waiving it to go to a rebuild team.
