Can I dream?
Honestly, with the way Habs have been playing under MSL, without price, Weber, edmundson, Savard, armia, Dvorak, and Allen is unbelievable. I don't think Habs need a Arizona type rebuild, nor a sabres rebuild. I think what this team needs is to trade a couple of the old guys, trade the rentals, acquire a couple pieces, sign 1 big free agent, habs can contend. Therfore, this is my plan for next year:

The only holes are, 1st line LW, 2nd line C, 1LD, 1RD, 3RD, 1G.

LW: Gaudreau, Forsberg, (Miller trade)
What I want : forsberg
From these most likely to happen : Gaudreau. Johnny's fave player was MSL, hope that's a factor.
I doubt he signs here, but let's say he does.

2nd line C : Kotkaniemi, Hertl, Trocheck, Giroux, Bergeron, domi, pavelski,kadri (mccan trade).
What I want: Bergeron
From. These most likely to happen: mccan trade. Gally for mccan with Habs adding?
Let's say that happens. I wouldn't be upset with any of these options tbh.

1LD: Chychrun, Gostisbehere, Lindholm, Giordano,
What I want: Chychrun. Romy + 1st + other prospects?
What will prob happen: Ghost. Habs interested in him. 2nd + Clague + 4th ?

1RD: Letang, Klingberg.
What I want: Klingberg
What will prob happen : Letang,
Letang former agent of hughes, wants to come to quebec. Perfect fit.

3RD: Colin Miller? Savard?

1G: either price if he comes back, or Fleury. Plays final 2 years in hometown. Or kuemper.

Canucks defense is very good

lol your boys have already won me some money, I had over 1.5 goals in the first period total, hughes to score, and both hughes and sharangovich to get three shots so they are both 1/3 of the way there. I also have over 6.5 and over 7.5 total in the game so hopefully they get there lol

Weird angle but that’s all on defense. It was a rare McMichael miscue but he needs to step down there and get his stick at least trying to lift there. Instead he just watched a goal go in

We have been chasing this whole game. I was supposed to go to this game thankfully I’m not. Poor forchecking and recovery. Bad turnovers. Looking not good.
