Quoting: BeterChiarelli
Svechnikov

If I'm his agent, I'm shooting higher than that. Svechnikov's contract is looked at as pretty favorable to the team and Robertson's season is outpacing anything Svech has ever done from a production standpoint. I'd be looking for no less than 10 on a long term deal.

I think he should get 9M+ on a long term deal

What a 2017 draft for the Stars
Heiskanen, Oettinger, and Robertson ALL in the same draft
I wonder what type of contract Robertson is gonna get

Future is bright in DAL

Only problem I see for them is cap space

They already have Benn and Seguins big contract on the books
Between this offseason and next they need to resign Robertson, Pavelski, Hintz, and Oettinger

No doubt, it won’t be easy but IMO they are building a great team that can be competitive for a lot of years

Perry nailed the transition from elite power-forward to great bottom-six player, not everyone is able to do that. The way he plays, he could have enough gas to play beyond his current contract.

With every game he plays, I become more and more convinced that Shesterkin should win not just the Vezina, but the Hart. He is having a Carey Price '2014-15-esque season, and despite all the talent the Rangers have elsewhere, their lack of depth on both offense and defense (behind Zibanejad/Kreider/Panarin and Fox/Trouba, respectively) would be far more glaring were it not for Shesterkin.
His stats are incredible-his GAA is 1.96, his SV % is .940 (.940!!! Are you kidding me?!), and he has not given up more than 3 goals in any game since the calendar flipped to 2022 (and just 3 times the entire season). He's not singlehandedly carrying the team, but they're in a far better position than they would be otherwise without him. If he keeps this up down the stretch, he's the clear frontrunner IMO.

Perry-Simmonds was a wash before the start of last season. Neither player was good in 2019-20, so I don't blame Dubas for signing Simmonds over Perry. It only became clearer in the middle of the 2020-21 season that Perry had more left in the tank than Simmonds.

Anyone else think JRob would now go over Pettersson in a 2017 re-draft after Makar and on par with Heiskanen?
