With every game he plays, I become more and more convinced that Shesterkin should win not just the Vezina, but the Hart. He is having a Carey Price '2014-15-esque season, and despite all the talent the Rangers have elsewhere, their lack of depth on both offense and defense (behind Zibanejad/Kreider/Panarin and Fox/Trouba, respectively) would be far more glaring were it not for Shesterkin.
His stats are incredible-his GAA is 1.96, his SV % is .940 (.940!!! Are you kidding me?!), and he has not given up more than 3 goals in any game since the calendar flipped to 2022 (and just 3 times the entire season). He's not singlehandedly carrying the team, but they're in a far better position than they would be otherwise without him. If he keeps this up down the stretch, he's the clear frontrunner IMO.

No joke before he all of a sudden started scoring Corey for like what the first 25 games was so quiet for Tampa and fans were going WTF do we even have him for. Then he gets that one goal and goes off on a tear ever since lul.

But yeah it could have gone either way. I like both and really dont care where one vs. the other is

Shesterkin should win Vezina and Hart

As lets be real if hes not in the Rangers net they are no where near a playoff team

It's still mind-bugging that he didn't want to give him a two-year deal but then proceeded to give 3-year and 4-year deals to Hoffman & Savard. Not that Perry would have saved the Habs season, I just wished Bergevin was more consistent with his own ideas last offseason. Pretty much all he did contradicts his sayings. Last summer was just him desperately struggling to live up to expectations of the Cup Finals.

This is probably the best one I could find for my speed, and this dman was actually good he just missed the hit because I was going really fast.

Yeah I knew it was either I burn him out or he most likely sits me down, I took that chance and it payed off. From my POV he was a lot farther than he was on the video, and realistically he wasn’t close at all. The reason I took that chance is because I’m almost immune to hip checks, it’s either I reverse them or burn them out, once I got de-balanced, but it wasn’t that bad.

You've got terrific speed and skating, and while the video detail isn't great, looks like a really solid wrister as well, When you make it to the NHL, I'll be able to say "I knew ______ _______ when he was EsoYeezus69 on CF" smile
