Both players going to Blues can have double retention to compensate for blues over cap

This is nothing more than highway robbery-and-a-half against the Blues. And if they get Lindholm, what is the use for Chiarot? Horrible.

Habs refuse the trade chariot on a solo trade could give more than this and MTL retain salary of both defensemen ?

Chariot would probably give around the value of first round pick + a little something ( exemple 4 round pick, a 3 round or a young player between (18 to 25) Who struggle and need a fresh start)

It's alot to pay for St-Louis for a maybe one year playoffs.

No way Hampus is worth that much. Even at 50%.
