Columbus says no.

Boston says no to the rest.

Somehow you managed a deal that 3 parties say no. Boston, Zona, and Kessel.

Columbus declines as soon as they don't hear any good value pieces being included, the price will be at least a 1st, prospect +

A middle six winger, a guy that was just traded for a 3rd round pick, and second and third round picks aren't remotely close to Laine.

Great pick haul. Also an RFA with a QO half as big as Laine. Could flip Reilly for another pick.

Habs say thank you, although taking 3 contracts will be a problem if they want to take on salary in a 3 team trade

Half retained Laine would cost a first, Lysell, and debrusk

CBJ screams NNNOOOOOOOO!!!! Seattle would take that but I don't think Boston would offer a 1st. Maybe a 3rd. Kessel should NEVER return to Beantown unless he loses 60 pounds, gets faster and learns to back check. Montreal shouldn't even consider a trade with the B's!! But I like your moxie, kid!
