I wouldn't trade Kerfoot for Garland straight up. Kerfoot is way too versatile a player for the Leafs to be rushing to move him. He's a huge part of the penalty kills success this year.
Then switch Garland to Petterson. Kerfoot is as good as Garland costs way less. Why would a team send a player who's having a better season, makes less money and already knows the system?

ask OP, they're the one pushing out a Kerfoot-led package for Garland
and mayfield's already a top 4 on our team, it's not really worth it at all for us.
Yes for sure, I wasn't trying to say that package would get it done, I think a second-rounder Dermott and C-B level prospect would get them to say yes.
