What a game tonight. Huge to come home tied 1-1 in the series.

What should the Leafs do if Zaitsev can't play next game? Will they bring someone up from the Marlies and dress Marchenko?

Dress Marchenko. Poor Polak...looked bad...guys been a beast on the pk all year.still don't understand why Hunwick played 35 mins and Carrick didn't even Crack 20 mins through 5 periods...

Think Carrick got benched after taking a penalty. Hunwick has been solid at moving the puck lately. He was great again tonight.

They'll probably bring someone up from the Marlies and dress Marchenko (if Babcock's insistent on his left-right split, Marchenko will need to replace Polák on the PK and on the right side). If they don't bring somebody up, the Maple Leafs will only be at 6 healthy defenders, pending Zaitsev's prognosis.

As for who they're bringing up, I can't remember where, but I saw or heard some comments that Babcock or someone on the Marlies coaching staff said they liked the play of Travis Dermott, Andrew Nielsen, and Rinat Valiev defensively. Of those three, I would guess Valiev, as the Marlies are in the playoffs and need Dermott and Nielsen's scoring touch on the back end.
