Yes and no. I mentioned in the main GM thread that due to some errors by posters with draft picks in trades, some people may have the same draft picks...... Honestly, I think everyone should keep their 16-17 AGM's for the rest of the season to avoid screwing up draft pick compensations in trades in the future. Having the 2017 picks show in each teams thread makes it easier to keep track.

Having all these separate threads (Non sticky'd) is making the game way more confusing than it needs to be.

Format for the Sticky section should be IMO:

1 NON PINNED GM team thread for each team.
1 PINNED Master Game thread (Open) - Random chatter about the game.
1 PINNED Capfriendly rules thread (Locked) - Capfriendly user policy rules.
1 PINNED in game rules thread (Locked) listing of all the rules compiled in this game so far. Dates for all major important events. Updated by mods only.
1 PINNED "unofficial"/ official trades thread (Open) Needs to be stickied IMO.


The rest can remain in the non-stickied section.

Created a new GM game Panthers AGM using the 16-17 format instead. Can you please sticky that one and delete the one that was currently being used. Thank you!

The reason why everyone has 17-18 now is because of RFA signings and rangersandislesfan set the cap at 76 mill.

I realize that its nice to get started on resigning players and what not but RFA's are technically still under contract right now and there is no risk of losing them for a good while still. The main reason I brought it up was to make sure people are not messing up their 2017 draft picks and the fact that we are all getting way ahead of ourselves with respects to next season when this one is not even done yet.. I don't see the problem with getting started with a 17-18 AGM but there really is no need to have it posted to the GM game yet. I have multiple AGM's saved in my queue that haven't been posted yet.

You can delete mine "Ducks 2016-17".. I made just the one trade .. no draft picks included.

Yeah I think the locked ones are ok to delete. Please don't delete mine that isn't locked though as I'm using it to keep track of draft picks without having to do it manually.

Hey Mods, Can I make a GM game thread in the Boston Bruins section of threads? I want to simulate what would happen in the real world. That way every fan of the Boston Bruins has atleast some say in what moves we make and they can engage and feel apart of it. It would generate more clicks for you on your site because people would be coming on specifically to help us be better in this game. I would have limitations of the fans proposing 1 deal every 24 hours for us to consider. It'd be like having all the assistants and staff of the real Boston Bruins and everyone would put their thumb print on the team. I think that would be fun for everyone, and next season when it happens I could still be involved, but would take a lesser role so someone else gets to be the Head GM. That way we're all united as Bruins fans and we all contribute and buy into this, creating more popularity for your site.

I think it would be great, please let me know soon.
