If I tried to come up with a perfect return for Provy, it'd involve a cost controlled d man of the top pair variety locked up long term, and a top line center. Both of those would need to be in the now too. Dealing with futures is cool and all, but no prospect is a guarantee and that makes it really hard to move Provorov, a top pair d man now, for prospects and a good young center.

I think I'm gonna pass for now. As time passes and you get some new players we might be able to work something out but I value Provy very highly. He's a truly elite defender at a very young age.

If I was approached with this deal when I was putting my team in win-now mode, I would take it in a heartbeat. But it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for me given the direction I'm going with my team. Thanks for the offer though bud
