Miller will get more than that in a trade. Won't be able to afford him next year anyways, as much as I want him on the Wild

No way that Bruins deal happens and you're selling low on Miller. Everything else is at least close although I don't think they should trade Garland.

Nope, Carlo for Horvat 1 for 1 is close to fair value but still won't get done

This is such an easy no from Minnesota. You know besides the fact oir gm no longer has any interest in ht Miller. Every Miller proposal = he's worth same or more than eichel who has 4 years left.

WSH declines, no cap space for Pearson, and I wouldn't want him anyway since I don't see him as an upgrade to guys like Sheary or Sprong.

Our gm no matter what Canucks fans are thinking isn't trading top prospects for a player whose a free agent after next year. Plus the fact, our cap and our gm no longer having any interest

I just don't see Boston willing to create one "semi" hole (#2C, which Haula has done well between Hall & Pastrnak) to create a bigger hole (and hard to fill) Top 4 RHD. I also don't think Foligno would waive his NMC to go to Vancouver

Except this proposal isn't anywhere close to what Eichel got so what are you on about?

Perhaps. I think his ceiling is a middle 6 winger, I see him as a 20 goal/40-50 point guy if he reaches his ceiling. Khusnutdinov about the same. If I'm Vancouver, I'm asking for at least a 1st round pick, A prospect (only one we could afford to give up, in my opinion, is Lambos since we definitely aren't giving up Rossi, Boldy, nor Wallstedt), and maybe one of Khusnutdinov/Beckman. Might need to throw in a 2nd in there too. I probably wouldn't do that without the 2nd if I'm Guerin, and I also wouldn't do that if I'm Vancouver since they need a RD badly and don't really need winger prospects, but value-wise that feels close to ballpark. Modeled that roughly after the Duchene trade to Ottawa

So basically:

1st, 2nd, Lambos, and Beckman/Khusnutdinov for Miller.

For reference, Duchene trade was a 1st, 2nd of the following year, 3rd, Girard, Kamenev, Bowers, and Hammond for Duchene (who had a $6M cap at the time with an additional year on his deal)

Edit: and again, I wouldn't do that if I'm Guerin because I don't think Miller puts us over the edge, but the 3-way Duchene trade to Ottawa is a pretty damn close comparable for a Miller trade

Only way if I were MIN that I would consider this is if Van retained half, could potentially figure something out since there will be $5+M off the books next year in either Fiala or Dumba going, so you make a cup run this year (or at least attempt to), and then if the team isn't in a great spot next year, move on from Miller at TDL, but still not super wise imo to do something like that.
