What’s your thinking in swapping 2nds in the Buffalo trade
The VGK pick & the TML pick are gonna be roughly in the same area, so I’m wondering why bother with it?

I’m a Sabres fan. And i do think Hinostroza could be a solid bottom6 guy on a playoff team
But i also think Robertson & Liljegren is an overpayment
Idk that either guy is particularly appealing to us….
but 1 of them- OR- just a draft pick, should be enough to pry him from us

RH defenseman is a real need for us moving forward
So I’d think Liljegren would be the preference
We are fairly good with young talent on the wings

Heck, if u guys wanted to have some depth for the playoffs in case of injuries, we have a bunch of defensemen available (at varying costs)
We might throw a guy like Butcher in for pretty cheap

Something like Liljegren & a 6th
for
Hinostroza & Butcher
is very possible imo

And if u upgrade that pick to say a 4th,
u could pry away Hagg (I’d think) instead

C.Miller & Pysyk could be available as well, but they cost more
