These are all wildly in favour of Vancouver. Do you seriously think Edmonton wants to or has cap room to take on Myers while paying you a 3rd alongside Barrie??

      Edmonton decline both deals
Van is stuck with Myers unless your willing to pay a hefty sweetner and Halak can't stop pucks, his season has meltdown like it did last yr in Boston

Dickinson is a cap dump as there’s no place for him on the Devils roster, so paying Devils 3rd + 4th is fair.
So that leaves Pearson, who could take Vesey’s spot on the 4th line if he’s moved at TDL… for Zacha.

Given that Devils are already scratching guys like Kuokkanen on a nightly basis, do you not see how this trade provides no fitting pieces and overall negative value for the Devils?
      Easy decline.

We protected him and we have bad enough defense already. we wont be trading holl for a cap dump. teams already called on holl too so he has value. we ran into covid and injuries so we couldn't deal him and he picking up his play right now
