No he wont. He has been playing well this year when healthy. No luck. He is in his final year of his contract. Arizona can eat half the salary and move him at the deadline for a higher pick.

Maybe I haven’t been watching enough of Zucker but looking at the stats he’s a replaceable third liner who can’t stay healthy. Seems extremely similar to Tyler Johnson last offseason and the bolts had to give up a second for a team to take him on. Teams won’t do the pens any favours when they have all the leverage

If petterson and zucker get shipped off along with maybe matheson, rust and boeser can both be resigned

You need to ship all 3.. that is asking a lot.

Someone will do it. Petterson and matheson have both been fantastic this year, and maybe you hold onto zucker since he’s been decent

TJ had 3 years left on his contract. Zucker has 1. Zucker is more than just a 3rd liner. The team is much better with Zucker than without. He simply wasn’t scoring and that’s because he’s been playing injured. Now that he’s got the surgery he needed, he will probably start scoring when he comes back soon.

Picking up players even remotely close to Matheson or Pettersson will cost just as much, if not more than what they make. At least in the case of MP lol. Top 4 defenseman minimum price is 4.5-5 million on the open market.
