Description

Pens add defense and toughness for a team made for the play-offs and long Play-off/Cup run. I think the Pens would have the best 3 defensive pairings in the NHL. Plus with Blueger back and adding Clutterbuck’s toughness and leadership.

Pens already have enough scoring with Sid, Geno, Guentzel, Rust, Carter, E-Rod, Heinen. And with Zucker coming back healthy and adding Parise.

Plus they have Ruhwedel as their 7th D-man and still have Riikola and Friedman too.

And with Boyle(6’6, 240 pounds) and Angello(6’5, 215 pounds) both versatile and giving players rests here and there. And still have Zohorna(6’6, 220) and D.OConnor(6’3, 210) too.

I doubt the Pens want Perlini, he was on waivers just a couple of days ago and cleared.

Ya, the trade would be made to keep him in the AHL and up and down in the NHL; like the Alex Nylander trade. To claim a player off waivers they really need to stay on your 23 man roster.
