Best possible scenarios for the Oilers
- Duncan Keith goes on LTIR over an injury that puts him out for the rest of the year, Im sorry if this offends anyone but not a huge fan of him. And after the seasons over he retires and his contract heads back to Chicago for the final year.
- Oskar Klefbom makes a miracle comeback and is ready in time for the playoffs. This is super unlikely but as an Oilers fan Im allowed to hope.
- Oilers trade for a goalie because I think weve established what happened the last two years with this tandem, Stu has played well but I think the playoffs would be to much pressure for him. We run him and Georgiev next season.
- Kassian puts up a show in the playoffs scoring some big goals and playing physically in a huge way.
- We trade for Chychrun because realistically klef wont return. The package would include Broberg, our first, Keith and Lavoie
- Niemlainen shows up huge in the playoffs and establishes himself as one of the best 3rd pairing guys in the league
- Mikko Koskinen has a great playoffs and earns another NHL contract with another team. Unfortunantly I think its time for him to move on and we as oilers fans wish him the best.
- If we clinch a playoff spot with some games left to play I say we give holloway a couple of oppertunities.
- Im happy if oilers win two playioff rounds
