That age difference and difference in contract would make me not wanna do this. I read the same article and think it’d be foolish to trade Kakko while he is still so young. He’s already developed the defensive part of his game and I think the offense will begin to show. Just one of those cases where I believe patience could be the best thing for the Rangers here. Especially considering their stupidity in recent years with guys like JT Miller, Buchnevich, Ryan Graves who never got a chance, etc.

But these are not even similar comparisons. Dahlin is much better than Hajek, plays 1D for us and looks great. Olofsson is now a higher scoring player than Kakko but Rangers probably shouldn't make this deal, Kakko still has potential.
