I think this is actually a good value. Boston probably couldn't afford the qualifying offer for Boeser next season. It's relatively likely he walks in free agency. Canucks get a solid player in Debrusk and 2nd rounder. Maybe if you make it a first round pick it satisfies everyone?

I’m coming around to it based on the assumption that DeBrusk wants a change of scenery and is willing to do a bridge deal for less than his qualifying offer of 4.4 mil (which he’s not worth)
Boeser is basically a rental unless Boston can free up salary.

Then Vancouver will trade Boeser to a team that has cap space to sign him. as they will get much more as a non rental.
