Description

Highlander and Comtois both are low cost contracts as young RFAs and will be back for 23. Kessel is a rental for this year only.
Rangers have the cap space necessary to re-sign Kakko long term, and strome if they wish. In the off-season they could figure out a way to move nemeths contract to clear up more space.
They don’t mortgage the future in these deals. Canucks and Ducks get roster players in return and improved picks.

Once Kakko is back put him on panarins Line bump Kessel to 3rd and bump Comtois to 4th.

Anaheim shouldn't give up on Comtois yet and Vancouver shouldn't give up on Hoglander yet. Both have shown flashes of top-6 quality.
