Nate Bastian is important part of NJD. Wouldn’t sell him for a 4th rounder.

Fair, wasn't sure of his value. Seems like a guy who has more value where he currently is than he does in a trade

Yeah, I think he is good. He has his role (on McLeod’s wing) and gets some PP time in front of net. He has his buddies (McLeod, Hughes, Smith). Is never out of lineup. And he was very happy when he was brought back to NJ from Seattle. He is in good spot.

Maybe try Christian Fischer on Yotes. Kind of plays similar role.

Pens accept but no retention. 75K is such a strange ask for retaining salary.

Can't see a situation in which Joe brings in 4 new roster players at the end of the season. 2 possibly but 4 feels like way too much turnover at that point in the season.
