Luostarinen is not gonna be better than a 3rd line center, and I'm banking him as 4th line.

Not missing anything, he can be a 2nd center with a little more improvement however like I previously stated he is young and cheap so unless something comes across as an absolute win there is no reason to trade him. From the Habs side it isn’t worth it.
