I can see why many would say no from both sides (selling the farm and selling franchise goalie),but as the Flyers I'd take it. That kind of draft capitol doesn't come along too often. I'm willing to regress a bit in net short term for what I'm getting long term.

Doesn't seem like a good deal for either team. Flyers lose their franchise goalie and don't get an established roster player or a sure-fire prospect. The Oilers lose all their valuable draft picks for 3 years.

I think the value favours the Flyers, as mentioned already, thats a pretty large return of draft capital.

If Hart were to become available, I feel like it would make more sense to dial it back on the picks and include players like Yamamoto, Skinner, maybe even a Broberg etc. Skinner has some value, and if you're trading for Hart, no need for him anymore. A player like Yamo gives them a tenacious forward who is in the lineup right away and can pitch in offensively. I just feel like it makes more sense for the Flyers to get something a little more established. But I do also acknowledge the Oilers may want to keep as many roster players as possible, and would prefer to move futures. Somewhere in the middle would make the most sense.

I would include xavier and samorukov in there no problem in place of a first and third rounder. I'd run hart and skinner 41 games a year each.

I think this is about right for Hart. I'd probably take this from Philly's perspective
