Using this logic the Blues might as well sell Perron and Husso before the trade deadline...

It's almost worth it just getting rid of Scabdella's contract. I don't like trading for rentals either, but the bigger picture here is adding Gio to fit with Parayko AND getting Scabdella's contract off the books.

Completely agree, however that is not Doug's MO. Our team as a whole needs a swift kick in the butt. But the fact that we're sitting second in the central means we aren't going to be sellers
