Hardly! Crouse is 7 yrs younger than Kassian and consistently scores as many or more points and hits, on a worse team than Kassian does. Im not a Kassian hater, I'd love to see the guy turn it around. But I think his time with the oilers need to be done, they cant afford to pay him what he's making if he is going to play 4th line minutes. And with his injuries & age will he ever play the type of tough game he used to again? Take Crouse out of the equation then they need to do all they can to resign Kane, either way Kassian has to be dumped for cap space.

Maybe not if they manage to move Zucker before next season and Kass comes back and plays well in the playoffs once his injuries are all straightened out.

I dont think its far off. If another team was offering more Chych would be traded by now.

The values aren't there for these players, Perlini cleared waivers, no one will give up anything for him. I don't mind the trade targets but the Preds won't give up Jeannot, he's been great for them.

What I see happening bring crouse in play him where he would slot in on a deeper team having less opportunities and watch his production plummet. Just paid assets to add term to the same situation when all is said and done.

Going from Smith/Koski to Forsberg/Skinner is for sure a downgrade, even with how bad Smith has been, you can't rely on Forsberg to become a genuine starter all of a sudden, and Skinner is a backup at best.

Nahh, Kassian is a well paid plug. Oilers should be giving Pittsburgh a pick to take him.
