Description
As much as I want them to stay, I think Rust and Letang will be gone. Letang will sign in Montreal I believe and Rust I think played so well someone else will make him an offer he can't refuse. I think with them leaving it will be time to change our identity a little by adding a combination of physicality and more speed.

I don't the Habs go for this deal, Zucker has a higher cap hit and has been less productive than Hoffman over the last few years. Maybe if Pens add a bit Habs consider, but I don't think 1 for 1 makes sense here.

What about if we add a prospect or maybe a second/third?

Not without serious retention. Kapanen is a 3rd line player on the Avs. Guys on CF seem to forget 16 teams are using LTIR to be cap compliant, that if a guy is a 2nd line player that doesn’t mean he’s that on the team acquiring him, and the market currently is very much a buyers market though that could/will change

As a CHI fan, I think that is fair value. But I think if I proposed this from CHI's side on here, I would have Pens fans jumping down my throat about it.
