That Copp offer would easily be beaten at the TDL.

Would rather just get a 2nd round pick for Copp.

All of those offers are weak, especially thinking Barrie is worth more than Braun

Im sorry, at the rate Strome is going, id not give you strome for that package. Nothing jumps out in it as "really interesting". Yes Strome has Kane playing with him though Strome has been doing really well outside of just the output

I’d be ok with Yamamoto, but not the 5th.
Make it Yam and a 2nd and I’d do it… otherwise, it’s a 1st

Blackhawks need picks and prospects. Cap dumps only raise that price. Samorukov a 2nd and a 3rd isn't even enough for Strome and Kubalik without adding in the Turris and Benson dumps. Plus, the way things are looking with Strome, they probably won't be getting rid of him any time soon.

Braun for Barrie straight up is probably one that PHI turns down. Braun because of his level of play and style is probably worth a 2nd rounder at deadline with retention (only around 50th-60th overall).

But Barrie is not a good dman, and a healthy PHI with provorov, ellis, ristolinen, sanheim, cam york, yandle has plenty of puck movers. Just dont think PHI is interested in his type of player and not at his salary. (They probably need a puck moving/physical 2RD, and a PK 3RD)

Yamamoto is fine, but put a 2nd there and not a 5th. They can easily get a top 9 and a 2nd for Copp; and could even get more.

Really? Yamamoto is a player now and he's worth more than a 2nd. I realize he's having a down year but he's still inside the top-100 forwards for 5v5 goals for the season, tied with Tavares, Zibanejad, Killorn, Lundell, Arvidsson, Scheifele, Rakell, Raymond and Ehlers.

He's also a pending RFA with several years of team control left, and shouldn't be overly expensive on his next contract.

In any case, the Oilers aren't moving him for a rental. But if I were Winnipeg I'd JUMP at this offer.

Edmonton rejects the PHI and WPG trades. There isn't nearly enough value coming back.

Okay you sold me... lol

I like Yamamoto but I just don't know where he'd fit considering how the Jets run their lines.

Looking at this from an Oilers perspective I agree they shouldn't trade Yamamoto for a rental.

0 chance the flyers are selling and give up a 2nd and 3rd round pick for braun. Especially when he could probs return a 2nd round pick.

Copp can play all three forward positions, can move up and down the lineup, and plays on both the pp and the pk. He's a guy who can get 50 points a year. They could get a first for him if a GM is desperate enough, and will likely get something like a prospect and 2nd, or a couple picks in the first three rounds.

Yamamoto, a 2nd and more?

I doubt it, think they'll get a 2nd and a B/C-prospect or 4th/5th round pick.
