Oh. Well, no offense to you, but I wouldn't take that guy seriously, cuz that is an awful trade. CHI would never pay that price for Chytil and Kravstov, let alone be buying at the TDL in the first place.

Then why are they giving up a 2nd round pick and all those players for Chytil and Krav?

Just cus a hawks fan doesn't know how to value players doesn't mean it's a good trade. Take out the 2nd and carpenter and it's a lot closer but I'm still not sure the hawks accept

2 of the players are straight rentals and the other is kubalik, both kravy and chytil are controllable, younger assets. I wouldnt have thrown in the pick if I were drawing it up myself but saying chi is buying here is just not accurate

The Rangers end up with 2 rentals + a 26 year old kubalik and the hawks end up with 22 year olds chytil and kravtsov. The hawks could sign both de haan and carpenter back in the offseason if they wanted to. I'd keep the second and throw in a 4th on our end
