Don’t think the bruins would have interest in Manson. Their third pair isn’t really what they’re trying to upgrade. Lindholm would be huge though. What would you want from boston for him?

No interest in Grant but Blues have interest in Deslauriers (or at least should)

Wasnt trading either to STL, put in the trade they were just a placeholder for contenders

Gettttttttttt itttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.

I doubt Rakell gets that, but I'm 100% in.

Manson return will depend on whether he's healthy or not. He's the type of guy that some dummy will give up more than is needed, IMO

I know, I read the description under the trade. I'm just saying Deslauriers to the Blues makes sense.

McAvoy?

Kidding. Similar package to the Florida deal, but y'all don't want to move Lysell, so I don't know that it can be a thing.

Bruins fans wont like it but I think the only way they could compete with other teams (Leafs, Panthers, Hurricanes) it would need to be Lysell and a 1st, Boston just doesnt have any other impactful prospect in an area of need for the Ducks

Not saying the Bruins should offer Lysell and a 1 for a rental to be clear

i would hate if the rangers traded nils for a rental, especially if it isn’t pavelski, but that would be great for the ducks

@Salzy-Mahura is one of the teams best LW's now. Hilariously, he was one of the teams best fwd's last night.

Was more or less testing the waters with that offer, I feel the more likely deal is Kratsov and a 2nd

Agreed, I think he'd be the perfect fit for Anaheim, and I think a lot of Rangers fans have him written off. IMO, he should have spent at least the first half of the season in the AHL.

Fingers crossed. Weird to bring 12 fwds and 7 dmen on a roadie, which I assume is more on management than anyone else. To be fair, Mahura was actually pretty solid up there though tears of joy

yeah i think that would be the deal for rakell, or at least very close to it. wouldn’t be as exciting for the ducks as nils but if he comes back over then it could turn into a great trade for you guys very quickly

I dont know what Id do if he isnt fired the day the season ends tears of joy I feel like that was Verbeek trying to see if Mahura can be used in a Mark Pysyk-esque role, which I wouldnt be mad about. I think I'm the biggest believer in Mahura on this site so any role that lets him become a regular im game for

A future top 4 of
Fowler-Drysdale
Zellweger-Lundkvist

Now that would be exciting, would still be more than happy with Kratsov and a second

honestly i think he would have been a lot more successful in the NHL this year if he wasn’t tied to nemeth or hajek at the beginning of his career. he looked mature and capable in both ends, he just wasn’t extremely productive in north america until recently in the AHL. i would love to see him get another chance now that nemeth has bounced back a bit but i don’t think it will happen unfortunately

I think they keep Dotsal down in the AHL all year, no reason to rush him. I think Stolarz gets moved after the UFA goalies sign and a team that missed out needs a cheap reliable back-up. I would be shocked if he gets traded in season.

A mock deadline deal with him just for fun though could be something around Georgiev and a pick for him I guess? Ducks would need a capable NHL back up coming back for an in-season deal

Oh get real. Look at what you just moved him for here. I get that denisenko was drafted high, but he’s been pretty mediocre in North American pro hockey, and is a couple months away from turning 22. Theres an ocean of room between beating that offer, and including lysell and a first. I think Vaakanainen and a first is a very good move for both sides. Boat load of value for anaheim, with a guy 16 months older than denisenko that has spent time looking good on a top pair in the NHL, rather than being, “meh,” in the AHL.

So an almost 22 year old prospect struggling to find their footing in the AHL and a first? Ya, bruins got that.

I am being real, Boston has arguably the worst prospect pool in the league. The Ducks have too many LHD already and Vaak would be our third best prospect there best case scenario. Lysell is the only prospect Boston has that would be of interest. Vaak and a 1st would be great for Boston not the Ducks

Denisenko is better than any prospect Boston has other than Lysell by a mile

Bruins fans get so bitter when teams dont want the mediocre "top prospects" they have

And I havent even mentioned Vaak battling a concussion, The Ducks have 0 interest in someone with a major injury at the strongest position in our organization

Just because Boston doesnt have the pieces to get him that doesn't mean the Ducks take less to make Bruin fans happy
