Description
Lindholm probably fetches more. I just went with Tippett and a 2nd. Feel free to criticize.
By trading Manson, and trading the other assets, I think its important for the Ducks to acquire a right handed shot d-man (Lundkvist) since all we have is Drysdale (Shatty is gone after next season).

If Manson is willing to extend for 1 year, to prove himself healthy, I would do it unless a team is offering a 1st round pick.

Sam Steel has been playing well, Max Comtois deserves more of an opportunity, and Max Jones is returning soon. So the Rakell and D-Lo trade are necessary, not just because they are UFA's. If Steel, Comtois, and Jones play well down the stretch, then and only then would I consider moving Henrique in the offseason. I think its vital that Terry plays with someone like Henrique.
Trades
1.
ANA
  1. Tippett, Owen
  2. 2023 2nd round pick (FLA)
2.
ANA
  1. Lundkvist, Nils
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
Not sure what round the draft pick should be. I lean on it being a 2nd. If need be, retain some salary.
3.
ANA
  1. 2022 1st round pick (TOR)
TOR
  1. Manson, Josh ($2,050,000 retained)
  2. 2022 5th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Manson alone does not fetch a 1st. He's been injured half the season. I figured to retain salary and add a 5th, and the fact that Toronto SHOULD have a very late 1st round pick, seems fair. If not, add Sam Carrick.

TOR declines- unless it sets up for a bigger move.

Manson's NTC also blocks this. He's got Toronto on the list, and rumor is that he blocked a deal to Winnipeg last year.

Lindholm deal- no it needs a 1st
NYR- if Des is included needs to be a 1st
TOR- I think Tampa could be a spot that could give us a 1st and no thank you to adding Carrick in the deal

Apparently every move this year requires a 1st....for any player.

I think that you've been commendably conservative here -- extremely conservative, in some instances. (No sense in sounding like a Montreal extremist, who would say that since Manson is better than Chiarot, he should get a first and a second.) I don't think that we trade Lindholm without getting a 2022 first or second. I don't think that we need to include DesLauriers in that trade, or move him at all because I think that we want to re-sign him. (Has anyone else noticed how much he's been deployed on the penalty kill lately?)

You've been flying under the radar recently. Welcome to the cadre of hard-core Anaheim fans.

Yeah I've noticed most of the replies to my trade proposals usually end up saying Anaheim could ask for more. Not sure if its me not wanting to hear it from other fanbases, or me simply not thinking our players are all that they are hyped to be.
Adding D-lo just felt right to sell high on him. And the Rangers look like they could use a D-lo even with Reaves. Max Jones could fill in for D-lo. Buddy Robinson can take over the enforcer role. I assume we resign Carrick. Grant will be back. Groulx needs a longer look... that's 5 4th line players (Jones might jump 3rd line who knows).
The Lindholm trade, yeah its probably more like a 1st round pick and Tippett rather than a 2nd and Tippett.
The whole Manson thing is true. If Chiarot truly goes for a 1st as is the rumor, then Manson SHOULD get us a 1st...
with that being said, these players NEED to be traded if we aren't going to sign them. And a lot of these contenders already traded their 2022 1st round picks. 2023 is open for business, but some teams will be reluctant to part with 1st round picks in future years.
