That's a big price to pay for Copp who is a middle 6 UFA. I dont think they get a 1st for him

Major overpay for Copp he returns a 2nd plus B/C prospect. And reportedly Copp wants the Zach Hyman deal 7 x $5,500,000 he's not taking your offer. Plus Friedman basically said he wants to play in the States and that hometown Detroit is the favorite to land him in free agency.

Obviously very dependent on re signing but Calgary is seriously lacking at middle 6C, Backlund is playing great but on the wrong side of 30, Monahan is Monahan now unfortunately and Dube hasn't been great when he slides to C. Copp would be 5th on the Flames in goals, plays a position of need, fits the core age of Lindholm, Tkachuk, Gaudreau, Hanifin, Andersson nearly perfectly. I think it's a steep price but Dube is a winger that is underperforming in an organization that is flush at his position.

Interesting, didn't hear any of the States stuff or Detroit! Flames 2nd's are Florida and Calgary at this point those picks looks to be in the bottom 10 of the round, Dube doesn't have the value that Flames fans want his to at this point, his underlying numbers are good but it's not converting to production right now.

Bruins already have an overpayed vet with Foligno can’t afford to take on Lucic

Us honest Anaheim fans (and that includes my friend @Salzy) wouldn't ask for the third. (He just gets excited thinking about it.)

For sure, anyone on his ten team list, doesn't need to be Boston!
