    Take Anton Khudobin and retain quarter of Petry's salary. Only way DAL could even in theory accept this cap wise.

    Easy no from the Oilers, it's not goal scoring they need, They need a damn starting goalie and the Habs don't have one either.

    Montreal is not making any of these trades ESPECIALLY the Petry trade. Petry will get a much better package on his own, Farrell for Harley one for one would be fair but the Habs still wouldn't do it because they need scoring and already have too many LD prospects.

    I don't think he's the best backup but he's got 0,924 sv% & 2.06GAA in the playoffs through his career and I really hope Crosby, Letang & malkin can go on a solid last run even if jarry gets injured but you're right desmith has been good so far
