I think Kyle Conor has been your best draft pick for the past decade.

Ya I questioned even putting that one in there, barzal/Connor/chabot was quite a run after the bruins had three picks in a row.

He was picked right after scheifele in 11, just a build of what possibly could have been, jets can’t afford a Hamilton, unless wheeler comes off the books, and jets and devils probably looking for something similar and probably not good trade partners.

Just changing draftpicks of what could have been in that draft year.

Ok… I’d keep Ehlers and Dubois
Connor-Dubois-Svechnikov
Forsberg-???-Ehlers is a damn nice start to a top 6

Kind of interesting was the scheifele or Hamilton or couturier, or the trouba or foresburg.

Hind sight is 20/20
At the time, we picked BPA and what we needed at the time.

Ya for sure a ton of factors, amazing how much getting a draft right means, little deeper dive and possibly do Atlanta and see if there’s a scenario where they draft into a winner and stay in Atlanta but probably a ton of other factors also.

Man I wish the preds would of pick lundell over askarov. I still think Perfetti will be solid. At the draft it was said lundell was already ready for the nhl jump but I think Perfetti has a higher upside

Agree perfetti is going to be solid, definitely no complaints there, my only objection is that jets seem to go from big and tough grinders, to what seems like a majority of light playmakers. Is it too much to ask that there could be a decent combination of both? Nashville has a nice squad going, if they tending holds could do some damage, Lundel playing regular in that lineup would have been huge.

I never understood why the Preds took Askarov when they already had Saros. Forsberg-Lundell-Tomasino would be a sick line

I'd rather have Ehlers.

Really starting to think we might end up wishing they'd taken Lundell instead of Perfetti.

Draft days I wanted Hamilton or coutiere over scheifele and foresburg over trouba and pulock over morrissey. And either tkachuks or both, but that maybe getting greedy lol. Heard quite a few wanting lundel in that spot, I think perfetti could be a nuge side wall pp guy for the jets. Possibly in need sooner rather than later
