Zacha is nowhere near the complete player that Garland is. He has a Qualifying Offer that the Devils are clearly not interested in paying out (that's why he's on the block).

You can argue points all day till you're blue in the face but Garland holds way more value than Zacha.

He know's cause as long as the Pens have their core they'll be looking to on runs, that trade sets them back.

Looks like it could actually be Garland for him

Where is the value on the ice if he can only score 3 more points than Zacha? I'm not even a Zacha fan. If anything I believe far more in Ty Smith's upside and that this is a sophomore slump.

Satiar Shah is a reputable guy. Just because you don't agree with the potential move, doesn't mean it isn't true

The tweet mentioned sources where he's getting the information from (which I have listened to and heard it too)

What source is it? I don't know SAL, plus all he is saying is that the contracts are similar. Canucks would have to add significantly to get Marino.

That's incorrect. If anything a guy like Schenn gets added in to give the Pens a defenseman and Rodrigues goes the other way as Garland takes his spot.

No, it's not because a bona fida top four RD defenceman is worth so much more than a middle six forward. You also didn't say what source it was.

Garland is a bonefied Top-6 Forward that tbh is worth as much as Boeser due to his contract situation.
