easy no from buffalo. We dont need another 2nd or 3rd line winger. We'll take our 2nd for miller from any one of the other 10 tens that want him

Doubt he means a 3.5 million dollar paycut, More like 1-1.5 max. I also wouldnt rule out returning to russia soon

As a Canucks fan I think we win the trade. You could take out the draft picks and I'd still do it.

No big time UFA is signing In Buffalo. They probably won’t offer any big time UFA a contract either.

I think you’re light on nuke. He probably gets the exact same deal as McCann now

wow we went from 3.25 to 4 to now 5? I think he gets below because McCann plays center but 4-4.5 range

I always thought nuke was 4.5m, McCann contract makes it tougher now

Bolded is most likely correct
But we do have the Cap space to push up the prices of some of these guys that’ll most likely end up on better teams

Sabres say….. maybe (imo)

I just don’t know if we’d actually want Kapanen or not
He’s a decent player who we could slot into our middle6
But that would also mean holding back Peterka, who i know we really like & looks ready for NHL action

So it just depends on how we see our team being built
Bc even if we’d be ok with Peterka in the minors for 1 more year, there still wouldn’t be any top9 slots that open up the following year (unless we trade a guy out)

So again…. MAYBE

Detroit probably accepts. Not sure what to do about Reese but it’s not like it’s a commitment

Buffalo declines as the value isn’t there for us.

Miller should fetch at least a 2nd and a 2nd is better than Kapanen at this point.
